There are lambs now at the farm we visit! They were 2 weeks old when Kaden met them, and they are extremely cute, to say the least!
And a cutie-patootie anecdote, we had a house guest too long ago named Timothy. He won Kaden over right away by offering him some granola, and of course we still hear about that! So when Kaden looked at the lambs bedding, he picked up a piece and headed over to the lambs, telling us he was going to give them some of "Timothy's granola". :)
We also visited some of the horses during our visit to the farm. Kaden thought it was so cool that they were breathing! He started noticing other animals breathing, too. Later, he asked me if the trees breathe. I love this time of curiosity!
He wasn't as thrilled when the horse tried to kiss him. :)
No trip to the farm would be complete without a visit to the bunnies. Kaden loves bringing the bananas to eat, and plans out beforehand what he's going to give them to play with. He loves that they have toy trucks in their room, and there's a new little "house" that was put in recently that Kaden decided was their new school. He told me it was their new "Family Garden" (the name of his school).
