My first time in Tela!

Well, Tela sure is something, as you can guess from the sunset photo below. Tela is a sleepy ex-banana port that abuts the calm emerald waters of the Caribbean Sea, and is a low-key getaway for wealthy Hondurans and a mostly backpacker foreign set. It features several faded beachfront hotels and a bevy of tasty seafood restaurants that are heavy on the oil, and is located close to some of the nation's most cherished natural reserves-from jungle coated headlands to dense mangrove swamps to bird-rich lagoons surrounded by arid plains of scrub brush. Mom J still does not know I exist and my mother is yet to take that second test that will really confirm that I am not a work of fiction! But a smile wider than the Amazon River has not left my father's face since the first test results came back this morning, my mother also joyous but more cautiously so!
