Christmas 2009 with Grampa and Nana

2/6/10

Yes, I'm behind on the blog! You wouldn't believe the work it took to get the computer ready for this. Seriously folks, hours of burning disks so that we could clear up some of the memory on our aging computer. We're back on track for a while now. Don't you wish we could do that with our brains?

Anyway, we had our holiday celebration with Nana and Grampa up in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. It was so cold that the door handle broke off the car when we were trying to get in, but in spite of it, we had a really nice time.

Kaden still talks about how Maddy (the dog) barked when we got there and he cried. He just was not expecting that when he showed up at "Grampa's house" (the hotel). Maddy and Kaden got along ok after that, though.

Showing off his new hat from Uncle Dave and Aunt Lucinda, and his favorite shirt of late (you can see why. This kid LOVES trucks! How did this happen???)

Kaden loved reading with Nana. And he loved eating her yummy macaroni and cheese!

Kaden is also still talking about how "Grampa gave you a school bus and a train!" (Treats from the toy store in North Conway.)

Ooooh the trains! We'll be going back in the summer to see if we can ride one.

Walking with Grampa and Nana:

We celebrated Nana's birthday back at our house in Vermont. Kaden was pleased to try to puff out the candles with Nana. I wouldn't exactly say "blow" but he did puff on them! :)
